My interest in construction photography started when working freelance as a site engineer, and what started as a hobby has now developed, over the years, into a full time career.
I've been working as a photographer within the Build Environment for over 20 years and in this time i've worked on many large and small scale projects.
My work on these projects has seen me documenting many developments for Blue Chip clients and construction companies over the years.
For my aerial photography work i hold a Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) “Permission for Aerial Work” (PFAW) which means, as a licensed commercial operator of a UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle) i am governed and regulated by the CAA.
This PFAW is a mandatory requirement for anyone operating a commercial aerial photography drone business in the UK.
As a lot of the work i undertake is during the construction phase of projects, i keep my CSCS card status up to date to assist in giving my clients the confidence that I understand the potential risks of working in a live construction environment on their sites.
Although i'm based in central Scotland but my work takes me all over the UK.
